A collection of textiles swatches
This collection was inspired by the lifecycle of spandex. As
a petrochemical fibre it is made in the factory. It is prized for its stretch and
resilience when in use. Unfortunately, as a petrochemical fibre after its use
it is unlikely to be recycled and will pollute landfills. This collection uses
natural dyes and water-based inks on cotton to ensure it can be returned to
nature and will not be a pollutant.
